Delivered in 1965 by the Japanese industrial giant Ishikawajima-Harima, PALOMA is a steel-hulled motor yacht originally conceived by the yard’s in-house team. A true explorer at heart, she has crossed the Atlantic an extraordinary 20 times, embodying decades of adventure and endurance. Maintaining her elegant, classic profile and long-range capabilities, the 617GT yacht underwent a comprehensive rebuild in 2004, followed by significant refits in 2018 and 2020. Her current condition is, as described by her listing broker, “at the cutting edge of comfort, technology and efficiency.” Remarkably, PALOMA has had just two owners over her nearly 60-year lifespan. She offers accommodation for up to 14 guests across seven cabins, including a full-beam master suite on the main deck. The lower deck layout includes two double cabins, two twins, and two single cabins, with separate quarters for a crew of 16. Her interior style is understated and timeless: neutral-toned fabrics paired with original wood panelling create a warm and inviting atmosphere, subtly nodding to her heritage while embracing a refined, contemporary English aesthetic.
